What the calculator does with your numbers

All grading happens in your browser. The questions, the number wrong and the results are not sent to us or to anyone else.

What is stored on your device

The site keeps your last question count and your settings (letter scale, cut-offs, decimals, rounding rule, half points, extra credit, larger text) in your browser's local storage, so they are there on your next visit. The number wrong is not stored. This data stays on your device; you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. For offline use, your browser also keeps a copy of the site's own files (a service worker cache). No cookies are set.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the pages, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type, as any web server must. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Analytics and ads

The site currently uses no analytics and shows no ads. If either is added, this policy will be updated before it goes live.

Shared links

"Copy link" puts your current setup (question count, settings, and the number wrong if you entered one) into the web address. Nothing is sent anywhere until you share that link yourself.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Write to the email address above.
